Keras Cliff House was selected as a location for part of the Poliform Outdoor Collection 2026, placing the residence within an international dialogue between architecture, design, and landscape.
Conceived as an exploration of contemporary outdoor living, the collection engages with environments where space, light, and materiality are integral to the experience of the furniture itself. At Keras Cliff House, these conditions are not staged but inherent — defined by a precise architectural language and an uninterrupted relationship with the horizon of the Libyan Sea.
Positioned along the south coast of Crete, the villa’s composition of sculptural concrete volumes, natural stone, and open-air living spaces provided a setting where the collection could unfold with clarity and restraint. Terraces, shaded structures, and carefully framed views create a sequence of environments in which interior and exterior dissolve, allowing design to be experienced in continuity with its surroundings.

BIG SEE award
Keras Cliff House, designed by Tzagarakis + Associates, has been honoured with a Big SEE Architecture Award, an international distinction recognising outstanding architectural projects across Central and Southeastern Europe.
The Big SEE Awards celebrate architecture that combines design excellence, innovation, and a meaningful relationship with place. Selected projects are evaluated for their architectural clarity, environmental sensitivity, and contribution to the built landscape within their regional and cultural context.
Keras Cliff House was recognised for its site-specific approach and strong dialogue with the surrounding landscape of South Crete. Its sculptural concrete forms, restrained material palette, and carefully framed views respond directly to the cliffs, light, and expansive horizon of the Libyan Sea, creating a residence that feels both grounded and expansive.

Maison de Campagne 2025 explores the crossroads between booming tourism and a renewed desire for meaningful engagement with nature. Keras Cliff House’s organic lines, minimalist brutalism and contextual design embody this dialogue, marrying sculptural concrete, local stone and light to frame uninterrupted views of the Libyan Sea.
